There's nowhere on earth like Asheville, North Carolina. Located in the heart of America's national treasure – the Blue Ridge Mountains – this city and its surrounding areas make a stunning setting for your elopement. Enjoy blissful views from the top of the world at Chestoa View Overlook or experience the splendor of Pearson's Falls, tucked away in a North Carolina Heritage Site. Whether you prefer mountain tops, valleys, waterfalls, or preserves, I've got you covered. Here are 4 gorgeous locations for your Asheville elopement.

1. Beacon Heights Trail
Hardly anyone knows about Beacon Heights Trail – which is why it should be on your radar. Just a one-mile trek to-and-from, Beacon Heights Trail is by far the least well-known and most underrated stop on Blue Ridge Parkway. Moreover, this hidden gem leads to natural rock platforms with incredible views upwards of 4,000 ft. You and your partner will enjoy knowing how rare it is to know about – much less get married – on this trail.
2. Chestoa View Overlook
Chestoa View Overlook is famous for its breathtaking mountain views above the clouds. Only a quarter-mile walk from the parking area, if you blink you might miss the tiny parking signs. The stone terrace overlook is the perfect place to say, "I do." Lucky couples have even been blessed with double rainbows! Your wedding photos will be something out of a fairy tale. I recommend eloping in spring or fall for the best views!
3. Craggy Flats Bald & Craggy Gardens Gazebo

The romantic Craggy Gardens Gazebo and Craggy Flats Bald are famed for their stunning rhododendron. These locations along the Craggy Trail offer impeccable views and have scenery like none other. From the gazebo's panoramic perspective, you and your new spouse will be captured in the full bloom of your love.
4. Pearson's Falls
Getting to Pearson's Falls is almost as beautiful as the falls themselves. Along the quarter-mile hike to the waterfall are impeccable bonus sights worth stopping for. This privately owned, 90- foot waterfall found in a preserve is a designated Blue Ridge National Heritage Site. Thanks to its abundance of rare wildflowers and native birds, the Smithsonian has included Pearson's Falls in its Archives of American Gardens. Eloping to Pearson's Falls is like getting married in your own Secret Garden. Your wedding photos will forever encapsulate the beauty and magic of this hidden treasure.
Final Thoughts
In conclusion, Ashville, NC, and its surrounding area are truly incredible. There, you'll find some of the most magnificent sights in America. This list highlights some of my favorites. As certain areas have different rules regarding permits and requirements, and rules are constantly changing due to COVID-19 and the weather, I highly recommend you and your partner take a look at the "rules" for weddings at the Blue Ridge Parkway here and do additional research as needed.

Wherever you choose to set your Asheville elopement, I cannot wait to be part of your journey! Happy eloping!
